If you are interested in starting a project together, here is some important information about our design process, project timelines, and your responsibilities. Please take the time to go over these steps to ensure that the project goes smoothly for both parties and is completed in a timely manner.



After you have gotten in touch with us or submitted a project inquiry form, we will set up a phone or Skype call, or in-person meeting (depending on your location) to discuss what you are looking for and how we can help.


Once we have talked about your design needs, we’ll send you a custom quote for the work you would like done, and our project contract. If you are happy with our pricing and proposal, the signed contract and a 50% deposit is due to secure your project’s spot in our queue.


If you’ve booked a full package, we’ll get started on your branding development while you gather or write any written content needed for your website. We do offer copyrighting services, but if you’ve decided to provide the text for your website or marketing material, it is very important that you deliver this to us in a timely manner, in as close to a final draft as possible. The same goes for photography – if we are not taking photographs for you, it is your responsibility to provide us with any high resolution images specific to your business. Stock photos can be sourced when possible, but anything unique that you want to see on your website will be provided to us at this time. Also important to note is that domain names and hosting must be purchased from the third party provider of your choosing (this is not part of our services) and login information supplied before we can begin web development.

We cannot start the job until we have this information from you, so this is an important part of the process that can effect the timeline of your project. If you fail to provide this information before the agreed upon start date, your project may lose its spot in our project queue and/or you could be billed a late fee.


Here is the exciting part; with all of the design inspiration, plans and content in hand, we will start to create! If you have contracted us for branding services, we will start by developing your logo and brand first, and when that is approved by you, we move on to any marketing material, print design, or website design work that has been contracted. See Timeline below for estimated design times.


For each service that is contracted, you will receive the indicated amount of versions or mockups for your review and approval, and indicated amount of edits after final design submission. (ex: for a logo you will receive three (3) variations to choose from, and once the chosen design is developed to completion, you are allowed two (2) rounds of edits). We want to make sure our clients are always 100% satisfied with the final designs, so you are allowed to make further revisions as you like, but you will be charged the hourly rate (graphic design: $35/hour, web design: $45/hour) for edits and revisions that go beyond the contracted amount.

The same goes for any additions to a project that go beyond the contracted project scope. (ex: adding more pages or functions to your website, or requesting assistance with setting up your domain or email addresses.)


When you are fully satisfied with your new design project, you will receive all final deliverables by way of a convenient dropbox link for you to download from. This includes log in information and editing instructions for your new website, as well. At this time your project balance is due, and you will receive a final invoice payable by Paypal, bank transfer, or cash if you are a local client.


Each project varies depending on the amount of work contracted and complexity of the project. For smaller projects like a single logo or print design, the average timeline is 1- 2 weeks. The average timeline for our “Complete Branding + Marketing” package is 2- 3 months, depending mostly on the client’s response timeliness, and submission of website content. If you have a deadline for your project just let us know and we will do our best to meet it as long as it is within reason. Remember, project start dates are set depending on our availability and your deadline.

It is also important to remember that if you fail to supply necessary content in a timely manner (written, photography or otherwise) you are delaying the project, and you may incur late fees on your final invoice.
